GP-2600 Two-Track Applications

 

The GP-2600 has a modular telescoping frame that extends 6.5 feet (1.98 m) on the left side.

 

 

 

Hydraulically pressure-compensated sideplates provide edge control and consistent depth.

 

 

 

This two-track GP-2600 slipforms airport aprons 16.3 feet (4.97 m) wide on the new Bangkok International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. This machine is equipped with the GOMACO Auto-Float®.

 

 

 

Three frame-mounted bar inserters on the front of this machine accurately place the transverse bars for the longitudinal joints. The inserters place the bars behind the vibrators. The front split auger on the GP-2600 spreads the concrete to a predetermined width. Both the right-hand and left-hand drive sections are independently controlled with variable speeds up to 62 rpm, for quick and accurate spreading of the concrete.

 

 

 

The G+ control system allows GOMACO’s slipform pavers, trimmers, and placer/spreaders to be controlled by an automated 3D machine control system and not by stringline. The 3D control system is adaptable to the G+ control system.

 

 

 

This GP-2600 two-track paver is shipping with the 5400 series mold attached. The machine is equipped with outtrigers to lift the machine for adjustments. The GP-2600 features a removable auger/strike-off, 5400 series tie bar inserter (TBI), and a manual trailing form side bar inserter (SBI).

This contractor slipforms an airport project with their two-track GP-2600 paver in Oujda, Morocco. The paving passes were 24.6 ft. (7.5 m) wide and 13 in. (330 mm) thick.

 

 

 

GOMACO GP-2600 two-track pavers slipform side-by-side on an airbase project in Afghanistan. The pavers are followed by two T/C-600 texture/cure machines.

 

 

 

This 15 acre (6.1 ha) vehicle maintenance parking area will hold approximately 700 of Fort Riley's HMMWVs, or High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles.

The GP-2600 has a unique telescoping frame and forward-mounted vibrator modules which tilt in to reduce shipping width.

 

 

 

The segmented fiberglass shroud provides ease in serviceability. One section lifts up to allow easy access to the engine and service points.

 

 

 

The two-track GP-2600 is slipforming a cul-de-sac with a 95 foot (29 m) inside radius. This machine is equipped with three frame-mounted bar inserters. This street in Wayne, Nebraska, is being slipformed full width with integral curb on both sides.

 

 

 

This contractor slipformed a new roadway complete with a roundabout, six percent grade, and a tank crossing through Fort Riley with a new GP-2600 paver.

Transportability is an important feature in the design of the GP-2600. The two-track will transport under 12 ft. (3.66 m) wide. The transport height is less than 10 ft. (3 m) without the mold and slightly over 10 ft. (3 m) with the mold attached.
